    Viri,

    Just read your OP on alts vs gensets. Which 150A/24V alts are you considering?

    BTW I have been running the exact system you were inquiring about.
    In my application it is clear that a alts are superior to a genset.
    I produce 300Ah/12V daily it the only the main engine running time it takes to make the daily hot water.
