I line up with their breakwater for their docks or just northwest of it if not staying long. Or if crowded or staying longer southeast of the next dock(Sea Streak ferry dock so you want to give it wide berth) Line up with the second or third house in Fort Hancock row. Usually I try to be at 300 yds off if northern spot and 400 yds off if southern spot. I draw 5 ft and use a 35lb CQR with 100ft of 5/16" BBB and up to 200ft of 5/8" rode. Hope it helps.

    Biography
Sold our first boat (Catalina 30) and got a Pearson 530 CC which we would use for cruising. Made Maine to Miami twice using the AICW so we know all the shallow spots. Learning more about repairs than sailing so far, but should be cruising further soon.
