I am considering purchasing a cat around 40 feet and hope to pick up solid information to help me objectively consider various models and manufacturers.

As there is no chance of ever 'retiring' with super funds losing more than goes in, I thought a 'present' for myself that can do a little work for me as well as give recreation is worth considering.

Thanks for the welcome. essentially I joined because Im looking to find a place to live along the east coast where there's a warmer climate, not to bussy but not to quiet kinda place. Id like to retire but thats not happening yet so maybe a place where I can work on boats as Im a lifetime carpenter General contractor and have worked on boat restorations both wood and fiberglass.
