I am looking to get a boat and plan on living aboard and single handing. I would be taking it across the pacific to Micronesia and the Marshalls in maybe 2 years for an "extended vacation". I can work from home which really means with proper Internet I can stay gone. My question is about the roomy-ness of a 35' Horstman and whether it is bluewater enough to make the trek. There is a 35' for sale in yachtworld that I am going to see in a few weeks but wanted your opinion. the other option is a big slow comfortable boat like a Mariner 40 but I was looking to go atoll hopping and the draft is a bit much.
