I was reading your comments on the FastCat 445 about the building techniques described many years ago. I am just wondering how the boats are holding up. Also, I am interested in how the GreenMotion propulsion/generation system is working after all these years of testing/usage?

I was reading some of your old informed messages on wave slamming in cats. I am currently looking at several: 2000 Manta 42, 2006 lagoon 440, 2002 Crowther 47, 1998 Prout 45, 2005 Nautitech 44... etc.
Any insight you can give on wave slamming or other things to look out for would be a great help.
Thanks, and good sailing.

Hi Fastcat,
I was reading your comment on the forum regarding copper coat. I own a mono hull 39 foot and preparing for long term cruising starting 2017 and would like to cut my out hauling as much as possible. I'll be spending a few years in the med, then a short while in the atlantic including central america and cross to the pacific and spend some years there. there fore, I will be moving around but will stay places for several months to year. based on your experience and in regard to my plans, would copper coat suit my needs?
Thanks
