Hello, thanks for the note. It doesn't seem there are alot of sailors out there on CF, or SN, so it is nice to come across another in the area. Gotta say I have a spot in my heart for good old boats, and especially Columbias, I talked to a guy with another Columbia in South Haven last year about selling his, and he gave me a price that was way overboard. LOL, so to speak. I am not sure what I will get, I so like Alberg 37's, Columbia 40's, and the like, old CCA designs, with the long overhangs are just what I like, just not in wood. Presently we are totally redoing our new house, and will seriously looking this fall. If you ever need a deckhand for a day sail, let me know, I would love to go. Not much experience, but everyone starts at 0. I crew with another guy on here with a Gulfstar 50, out of Holland, CT11, on here...

Hey saw your comments from the guy that just bought the Catalina 25 and thought I'd say hi. Me and my wife sail on our 1961 Columbia 29 out of Muskegon. Its always nice to know another fellow sailor or two from around the area. What kind of boat are you looking for? Ours is actually for sale right now if your interested! If not, good luck and happy hunting! We hope to see you out there soon.
