Catalina 25 1988

New to sailing or getting long in the tooth and need to downsize to a more mangable boat ?
The 25 Catalina is your boat, easy to single hand and perfect weekend getaway.
This was our first sailboat and it was the perfect size to be introduced into the world of sailing.
After 2 seasons we have moved on to a bigger boat.

This beauty is the well sought after pop top model with a shoal keel.
She comes with a dual axle trailer with new tires and fresh bearings and an extension for ramp launching, the mast is stepped and can be raised or lowered with 2 people, especially with the included Gin pole.
A porta potty for when you really have to go.
Interior cushions are mint.
The trailer has never been in salt water and the boat has only seen 2 short seasons in the Long Island sound.
Both formerly lived on a freshwater lake in New Hampshire until late July 2021.
Hull was professionally compounded and waxed last season.
Also included in the sale is a Suzuki 9.9 2 stroke outboard, that has a new carburetor and has been freshened up
with gear oil, seals and spark plugs,
If properly maintained this motor will run virtually forever, no computer board or sensors to leave you stranded, just fuel, spark and compression to get you home, ask around.

New to the boat are...
New mainsail 2022 (North Sail)
New genoa roller fuller 130%(North Sail) "the boat doesn't have a roller furler, it was on the list of future upgrades, we have been using the hanked on genoa for 2 seasons with no problems"
Interior LED lights fixtures.
LED anchor, steaming and deck light
New 14 Gauge wires in the mast
RayMarine E22078 windex and wire
Shakespeare SS antenna
Blue seas water proof 8 switch panel
Blue seas fuse block
Icon waterproof VHF with heavy duty VHF coaxial
Davis tiller Tamer, a true must have
Brand new Stainless Steel propane grill, used only twice.
BBQ cover, custom mounts for the BBQ.
Solar panel to keep the Batteries fully charged.
The hull was blasted down to the glass then sealed with 2 coats of InterLux 2000E and 2002 polyurethane sealer and 2 coats of West marine bottom paint.
Johnson 1000 Gph bilge pump and float switch.
She comes with a pop up top dodger, hard to find item
in mint shape.

Ok so what's needed to make her perfect ?
The topside has some spider cracks that need to be addressed along with some dings and chips, she is a 35 year old boat.
None of the cracks are structural, more cosmetic.

Will not sell the trailer without the boat.
No insulting low ballers
Not interested in trades.

Re: Catalina 25 1988

Please mention an asking price so people would know what you are expecting, also to avoid receiving an insulting offer 😊

(I am not in the market however)
