Wink The ease of entering Grenada with my large dogs

I, like many others researched the forums for what to expect while sailing with my dogs. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that within 2 hours after submitting all my paperwork that the Department of Agriculture of Grenada approved our dogs entry. This was the easiest process ever.

On a side note, the people of Grenada are so welcoming and have been enthusiastic when they encounter my husband and I walking the dogs. I get the feeling that large dogs as our Retriver/Chow mix and German Shepherd are not the standard size. They are always want to pet them to our dogs delight of course. Extra love is their mission in life. They are hams.

We are new to the forum but thought this was worth sharing.

Cool, I'm planning on a cruise down the thorny path next season.

Where did you clear in?

The only port of entry currently operating on the main island of Grenada, is in the Port Louis Marina, in Saint George's.

Another vote for Grenada as one of the friendliest islands in the Caribbean. Safe, and beautiful too.

We are in Grenada, Prickly Bay, with our dog also and found the entry process not that difficult at all regarding the dog. Just the email replies can be a little slow. A lot easier than Antigua, but nowhere near as easy as Martinique!
