Probably (an assumption) same goes for your battery. I actually have everything redundant.
- I have never had to wait for repairs. I have never had to hire someone for repairs.
- Boiling water in a kettle is always done at maximum power. The only reason to use a lower setting is that you don’t have enough power.

I don’t understand how you can have everything backwards?
You need redundancy, that’s why I have 2 inverters, 3 x 280ah battery banks and more than 1 way of starting the engine.
The really great thing about lifepo4 is that you can not charge them full each week and this causes no damage (apart from the other great things of course)

I try to look at it like this… can I find a working solution for everything without outside assistance …that what I try to achieve…. So far I have not had a show stopper… i would not run with 1 inverter as they can just stop from one day to the next … I try to run my boat without using the generator… actually , I have not used it for some years and I am planning on removing it… but not just yet.
