This diet really simplifies things 😄

The next few years I'll probably just cruise around British Columbia and Alaska but then might head down to Mexico and the Pacific Islands. BC and Alaska are pretty easy as it doesn't get too warm for too long especially further North.
Gee is dairy. Definitely not preagricultural.

If you cruise around BC & Alaska there are deer everywhere... just sayn.
Yes that's a good idea, I think I will try it and yes, I'd like to try hunting again but am unsure of the legality of doing so as I am nomadic. I will contact the local conservation officers to ask.✌🏻🙂

Hence the "(more or less)"

Ghee is a lot easier to find in stores than beef tallow or even beef suet so I often buy it. I'm pretty lean now so I need to eat a ton of fat.

Who is going to notice if you get a deer in Alaska, Its not exactly over populated with people,

A gun licence would be your bigger problem,

Oh I would never roll the dice with the USA authorities, I like my freedom.

I have a Canadian firearms license already and initial investigation has led me to believe Canadians are generally allowed to be armed in Alaska if they want. Really it seems like a wise idea to me. But I will contact the relevant agencies directly and get it in writing that it's allowed. I wouldn't try hunting in Alaska anyway, licenses are probably expensive for foreigners. I know of a few places in BC where you can get more deer than you can eat if you wanted.

Are you allowed to hunt in NZ? From what I've seen NZ is a lot like BC. Looks beautiful and probably lots of good hunting and fishing. Hope I make it there at some point

You do realize that Alaska is not in Canada and the fire arms licenses are not international.

Yes I do.

I think Alaska is a special case, however. The sparse human population and numerous apex predators make it a good idea.

Like I said, my investigation into this has been cursory so far. I'm not going to just sail in to AK with a rifle aboard not having done my research and gotten any necessary permits. I know better than to piss off US authorities 😂

Oh whoops, my mistake.

How is it in Australia then? I hear conflicting information about what is allowed. I gather feral pigs, cats and dogs are a big issue in the North but I don't imagine many people eat those.

Is the fishing good?

I thought every one in Alaska carried a gun for self preservation,
Its better than being eaten by nearly every thing that walks on land there,

I think it's pretty common, especially outside of the touristy areas. Probably a bit more covert these days as it seems more contentious than it used to be.

I kind of don't want to bother because it's a hassle but then I remember bears don't show a lot of empathy toward their lunch.
