A good book to identfy Caribbean fish,

Looking for books about Caribbean fish and how to best clean and cook them. Native vegetables and fruits would also be a big help.

Just talk to local people. Buy someone a beer or something. It’s been my experience that ppl want to share if you are nice

I have used the https://www.amazon.com/Reef-Fish-Ide.../dp/1878348574 and Reef Creature Identification books for a long time. I haven't found anything better.

I use the book that Zanshin has. Also The Cruisers Handbook of Fishing - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

We have boat rods, but handlines do better on a sailboat and that is what we mostly use. We learn more at the fish market than we do from books.
