Lying to a Sea Anchor, Lying A-Hull, and Heaving-to Under Reduced Sail

What are the disadvantages of using Jordan Drogues and running when you have a canoe stern and small cockpit? Has anyone damaged their hatches or equipment in the cockpit this way?
Also has anyone used two sets of drogues, effectively steering with them by varying the length of the drogue line?

If you're running the bridle through those hawse pipes of yours, you shouldn't have an issue nor should there be any contact with any hatches back there on Beth. The only conflict I could see would be with that aftermarket cooler ya have abaft the pedestal.
