Re: Challenge of a 6 Foot Draft in the Keys and Bahamas

We've lived in the Turks and Caicos for six years now. We brought a dog with us. We have a number of friends who live in the US and own vacation homes here, and they bring their US dogs down here with them, right through Customs and Immigration.

We've never heard of a quarantine of any kind in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Just up to date vet certificate of health, innoculation certificate, and I think a $ 50 fee. That's it. I don't mind people voicing their opinions on these subjects, but stating that a country has a quarantine when it doesn't is not an opinion. Its a false statement. subtract three points and five mile penalty.

And Zeehag, I am sorry to have to be the one to break it to you, but if your cat draws six feet.... well, you don't have to worry about the import docs any more. That's the good news.

Don't even consider the ICW side of the Keys with a 6 foot draft. Go out at the Biscayne Channel and take Hawks Channel down the Keys. Chuck

and the bad news is that if a wahoo hasn't hit it by now, it's time to change your bait no matter how attached you may have become to it.
