The storms are just weather and have little to nothing to do with climate and the natural changes thereof .

A new study paints a picture of an Earth that is warmer than it has been in about 120,000 years, and is locked into eventually hitting its hottest mark in more than 2 million years.

As part of her doctoral dissertation at Stanford University, Carolyn Snyder, now a climate policy official at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, created a continuous 2 million year temperature record, much longer than a previous 22,000 year record.

based off of corrupted data.
Due to glitches in computer algorithms.

Here are a few points to ponder
If they weren't so easy to disprove more might actually convert to the MMGWC

So know you take the word of retired accountant over the word of a climate scientist. Sort flies in that face of one of your earlier posts.

Sorry but I will listen to him before someone on a sailing forum. About anything climate related.
BTW - Marcotte is not even mentioned in your link.

The correct one is

So you trust a blogger who is a retired account (Homewood) over a climate scientist (Marcotte) .

Blogger versus climate scientist. Nice try. We all know that Homewood is your go-to-guy. Your link to his post started this thread.

jack who is this individual marcotte you are referring to ?
Do you mean Shaun marcott from OSU ?
His numbers are off as well we are not a ℃ above base we are only .14 deg above and falling.
Btw his assumptions about the ipcc models are spot on however the models themselves are way off due to corrupt and or incomplete data.

According to whom? None of his papers on climate change is peer reviewed. Peer reviews are standard in scientific research if you want to be remotely credible. Previous papers by Roy and Christy have been found with errors and/or omissions.

If you bothered to look at the chart I posted and to which you reacted you would know "Marcotte". You would also know the chart uses a different baseline than is currently used.

What I meant to say was he is a guy writing in a blog instead of an organization such as NASA, or NSIDC or ECRA or IDCC or National Center for Atmospheric Science.

And yes, climate does affect weather.
