Wannabe skipper from California
Hi all,

My name is Amir and I live with my family in Northern California. We recently came back from a 10 days sailing trip in Tahiti that was amazing and I wanted to learn "on the job" how to become skipper (vs. taking all the formal ASA courses).

Would appreciate any advice.

Take 'some' courses.
[charting/piloting/navigation, rules of the road, etc]
