Hi Just joined, thought I would say hello. I'm David , semi retired, I am a member of the Medway Cruising Club in Gillingham Kent.I have a 31 foot Elizabethan which I have owned for 6 years now, at the moment she is ashore in Greece (near Athens), waiting for the summer. I took her there last year, got to Corfu in 8 weeks, set off April 4th, took her through the French canals. I have sailed for about 11 years, friends got me into chartering and I was smitten. I have helped friends twice to cross Biscay on there way to Spain, once in a Bavaria 38, the second time in a 44 foot Birchwood motor cruiser. I have sailed extensively in the Adriatic and Greek Islands. I sail single handed, but usually in the company of a friend who has a 42 foot Bavaria Vision, we spend the summer Island hopping.
