Newly-Trained Sailors

Hi,
My husband, 2 kids and myself just finished a "Basic Keelboat" course in Jersey City, of all places. We have aspirations of sailing someplace warm & sunny for a few years when we're ready (not quite yet!). Lots of beautiful views of the Statue of Liberty & the NYC skyline from the Hudson but we were too busy avoiding barges & ferries while trying to get the hang of this crazy sailing thing to pay much attention. I think maybe we should have started with a Sunfish...
Happy Sailing!

Re: Newly-Trained Sailors

Thanks for the welcome. We figured we'd better go while the kids still like us (sort of, anyway)!
