Dear all,

hitherto, I've been geeking about on the navigation software forum mostly; I am now embarking on a reasonably ambitious renovation project; the boat in question is a steel 1991 46' Dutch ketch.

I am looking forward to share my progress with the audience here, and I am obviously hoping to gain some benefit from the tremendous expertise on here.

Welcome back into the light, idpnd. We're glad you've survived your fixation with the geekier side of cruising. Congratulations on the steel ketch. That's going to be a big job, I imagine, but I'm sure you wouldn't have undertaken it if you weren't confident you would succeed.

Hey Max,
A good refit plan always includes posting a bunch of "before" pictures for your buds on the forum!
Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks James, I've already had a good look around your pics so would be rude not to I guess
