Land-locked and Loaded...

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to pop in and say hello. Landlocked, never been on a sailboat before, but eagerly ready to get started, diving headfirst into books, videos and absorbing as much as I can until we can go outside again and learn the ropes on the water.

Been wanting to do this for many years having grown up by the sea, surfing and diving its waters. It always felt like such an unattainable thing to do, and I never could find the time (and money, truth be told) as a professional musician at the time. Moving away and changing careers seems to have rekindled the flame again stronger than ever. Now is the perfect time to get started.

Super keen to learn as much as I can from this great wealth of experience we have in this community. The goal is to get a boat, cruise the med to begin with and beyond if I can. Just wanted to be a part of this community to connect with people who know what's up so I can do this safely and efficiently. It's would also be great fun to eventually share a beer with some of you sometime!
