Greetings all,Just found the forum, read some threads and decided i like what i see.
My wife and i are currently land locked in Gosport but we are in the process of selling up and looking for a suitable Sail boat in which to live the dream.
I spent my youth living on an Endurance 35 Ferro (remember those?) in Milbay Docks Plymouth.
After too many years in the Royal Navy i have decided to return to the sea as my own master with SWMBO as the commander.

Given a full understanding of rank you could do quite well in your own navy. Enjoy the forum for the wealth of information contained. We never close. If you don't find everything you need then just ask as we do make stuff up as required. With almost 8,000 members and 100,000 posts there really are a great number of nice people and worthwhile bits for you adventure.

Please extend our best to the Commander too.

Welcome aboard!! Retired U. S. Navy here (almost 30 yrs). I like the idea of my own Navy too. It is such a pleasure to look out over my yard and see my fleet at rest on the lawn. Wish I had a patch of water under them.
