Intro

Hello, my name is Kamen.

I've been lurking for a while. Time to come out of the shadows.

A little about myself:
* Male, 53.
* Happily married.
* Originally from Bulgaria. Living in the US since 93.
* Software development background. Currently managing a large team of engineers.
* Stuck in the Nevada desert for the next few years. Prior to that, Washington and California.
* Planning to retire in a couple of years and sail into the sunset.
* Owned small powerboats for many years. Currently boatless, but looking.
* Took ASA 101, 103, 104, 114 with Dear Wife recently. Will be gaining experience and making mistakes on the water soon.

Thanks.
K

Re: Intro

Welcome to CF Kamen - as to mistakes on a boat, a bad day on the water is better than a good day in an office!!

Hi and welcome from Ontario Canada [emoji846]

Nothing is as exciting as your next boat purchase. You and your wife sound as if you've gotten a solid foundation in sailing with your courses so far. Everyone makes mistakes. You can learn a lot from mistakes and the lessons tend to stick too [emoji3]
Fair winds [emoji569] and don't forget to share your adventures with us!
