Howdy! [emoji112]

Hello all,
I posted 2-3yrs ago re my husband's plans on retiring and buying a sailboat..

Well,it happened!! We sold our home in Texas and came out here to California and bought a 46' named,Soulmate.

For the last month we've been checking out marinas in SO. Cali and we believe we found a slip with immediate live-on board!

Anyway,it's good to be here, and look forward to meeting y'all!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations.

G'day Mrs, and welcome to CF... hope you find the community as useful as many newbies do. Meanwhile, you should consider buying a lottery ticked asap, for scoring a live aboard berth in SoCal required fantastic luck and you might as well spread it around!

Do fill in your details in your user CP profile, and tell us what sort of 46 foot boat you are sailing. The more we know about you and your boat, the better we are able to help when you ask questions.

Enjoy the boat and the live aboard life. Ann and I have lived aboard and cruised for 35 years now and still find the life aboard a good one.
