howdy

Iwould like to take a minute to introduce myself.
My name is matt. I have recently made the jump from day sailor to a full blown cruising boat. My girlefriend and I have our sites set on the caribbean in a couple of years and the sixteen footer was just to small
I'm relatively new to sailing but have been running and working on boats for the past twenty three years. another twenty three and I might know something about them.
We have been very fotunate to have found a used boat that is in very very good condition. that we both love.
I'm really happy that I found this site in all my surfing. the information here is priceless. and it is well laid out congrats to the founders operaters and participants for creating a place where so much info can be had at such a cheap price
I hope I can contribute to it.

Thanks

Matt

Talking Welcome Matt (no pun intended)

I'm sure you'll like it here. The name of your vessel probably connects with a lot of us here.

And shuuuuuuuuch, don't let the sponser know this site is valuable.

Wecome aboard................._/)

Cruise a 16 footer? It's been done before, but I'm with you. I expect to have to leave the cockpit to drop the jib
Welcome. You appear to already be becoming a presense on this forum.

Welcome soul searcher.

You've come to right place. And like you have already discovered, this place has information that is priceless.

It wouldn't be that way, if it were not for the seasoned sailors that frequent here on this forum daily. That is why I'm here to learn as much. As I can. And still learning.

Good luck to you and your girlfriend.
