Just joined the site. Really enjoyed reading all the reports on the site.
We are planning a passage from Alicante to Fethiye, Turkey. 38Ft Sailing yacht.
At the moment in the very early stages of planning and not much time left....have not even decided on the stop overs yet or whether to go via Corinth canal or round Pelopponese.
We plan to leave at the end of April and expect to do the journey in 16 to 18 days.
If any of you have experienced the passage and have any advice to give us we would be DELIGHTED to hear from you.
Look forward to the advice, particularly about weather to expect in April May (particluarly in Greek waters). Also keen to hear about the Corinth canal and some of your favourite stop-overs en route
