Hi from the Caribbean

Hi all,

Just a short introduction, have been reading a lot here and now time for some posting also. Later we will be offering our boat for sale here when I have some goods pics and description. Ovni 30, anybody interested?

We recently sailed her from Europe to the Caribbean and now live and work here for a while.

See you!

Re: Hi from the Caribbean

Howdy and Welcome Aboard the Forum Orange!

The Ovni 30 is a boat I have not yet seen mentioned on this forum. I happen to like the OVNI boats and would love to have a 43 someday.

I have a suggestion for you.

Start a thread with a review of the OVNI 30 boat. "Review of OVNI 30" Include lots of photos. Mention the things you like about the design and build. Review what makes it special and different. Describe sailing it. What modifications do you suggest or have you made to improve it for cruising?

As that boat is not commonly found in the USA, I think your review of the boat (and photos) will help others here better appreciate that brand/mark and that boat too. I learned about the OVNI line from some mentions on this forum, but had to go offsite to really see the boats and to better appreciate their unusual (to USA) features. This will help others, and you too. Building an awareness of the unusual is a good thing.

Good luck on your sailing adventures and have fun!

Steady
