Hi, Brit overseas

Hi,

I'm a professional Navigator, have spent many years at sea commercially on large cruise ships, and in recent years on 80m (262ft), 126m (414ft), 136m (446ft), 155m (510ft) motor yachts. I'm passionate about navigation, and in particular celestial nav.
I also enjoy boat handling, and am experienced in handling small boats upto 30m and can drive prop and single or twin jets.

I'm here just to enjoy talking and sharing stories about the sea!

Re: Hi, Brit overseas

Though most here have smaller boats and mostly sail I think all would be interested in some tales.

Welcome to CF.

Re: Hi, Brit overseas

I hope that in the future I could offer Celestial Navigation and Ocean Navigation lessons with someone in return for someone allowing me to join them and teach me how to sail.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
It's good to have you here. You might want to post in the crew available forum to see if anyone would trade instruction.
kind regards,
