Hello from SW Florida

Hello,

I'm Paul Salmon now living in Naples, FL. Getting ready to buy my 5th boat. This one will be a Catamaran. I've got one I've put a deposit on and just finished the Survey. Wish me luck!

I'll post if the deal goes through.

Want to learn the ins and outs of Sailing and Cats!

All the best,
Paul

Good Luck!

Hopefully we'll get a break from the rain and the temps will cool slightly so you can enjoy the new boat!!

Good luck! Great cruising ground for shoal draft. I switched from a 5.5' draft mono to a 3.3' draft cat when living there...it opened up a lot more possibilities.

Re: Hello from SW Florida

Just found this thread and am sending positive thoughts about your offer being accepted.

I have been monitoring available US Mahes and it sounds like there will soon be one less in our market.

Is your Mahe located in FL?

Re: Hello from SW Florida

Hello fellow crew mates!
The deal went through I am a new/used boat owner!!!

Sailed from Fort Lauderdale to Naples over the Labor day weekend. No wind on the East side of Florida - Beautiful cruse however.
Got to Marathon and started North West and ran into bad storms, lightning, and fairly big seas. Inverter blew out but had a great time.

Now working on list of things to fix.. LOL I know it will never end.

I'm at the Beacon House Marina in Naples, FL near Doctors Pass.
Nice little quiet marina.

Thank you all for the nice welcome!

Lets hope for nicer weather so we can get out sailing!!!

Re: Hello from SW Florida

Paul, which Mahe did you get? ( former boat name). It's a small community and we are fascinated by Mahe lifetimes.

Re: Hello from SW Florida

FP Mahe 36 is the model not the boat name.

Re: Hello from SW Florida

Thanks, I got that.

My question is which of the available Mahes did you grab? I have been monitoring the market and if you give me the boats former name or other details, it is possible to see the sales package the former owner had on the market and see more details of the deal.

I understand if you'd rather keep that private but that's my question.
