Hello From Houston

Howdy,

My wife and I live on a Hatteras 50 YachtFisherman (which we have for sale - or trade for a sailboat) in Houston at Lakewood Yacht Club. We have been long time sailors and recently we moved to a powerboat to live aboard - thinking we would need the extra room one gets in a Hatteras........wrong. We miss sailing too much.

So the Hat is up for sale or trade and we are looking at various sailboats in the 48-65 ft range. Prior to the Hat we had a Morgan 60 (70ft LOA) - a boat i kick my self for selling...a truly great boat

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone and I posted a proposed itenary for a boat we are looking at in Santa Barbra - asking for help with planning the trip.

God Bless and keep you all! Keep the pointy end up!!

Re: Hello From Houston

Howdy and Welcome Aboard CF Dennis!

Good luck on your boat hunt.

Here is a link to a boat that ticks all the boxes for me, and if I were in the market today, this would be top of my list. It appears to be an outstanding yacht.

There is another boat I recently posted in that same thread, just above the linked boat. A Tayana 55 that appears to be priced to sell fast.

If you would like some help moving a boat, keep me in mind.

Enjoy the forum and your future sailing.
