Hello all

As a new guy on the furum, i just wanted to say Hi to all.

I am fairly new to sailing, but I have been around power boats for some time and also involved with the construction, maintenance and operations of much larger vessels on and off for most of my life.

My profile says a little about my family background and location (UK), and i'm sure i'll get the hang of contributing to the forum as time goes bye.

Right now however, I would appreciate anyopportunity to be part of the crew on any boats sailing out of Liverpool, North Wales etc. as I am trying to build up my experience prior to progressing my RYA qualifications.

Re: Hello all

Wayne, welcome to CF. Sailing out of Liverpool is tough with those tides, I grew up in Southport and I would have reservations about sailing in the Mersey. There is a little club at Hightown with a creek that accesses the sea. You and SWMBO might pop along and introduce yourselves, hopefully with a warm welcome from the club.
