hello all.....another green-horn

Just wanted to say hello, Ive been a on and around powerboats for what seems like forever, even was a captain on a 180 diveboat. About a year ago I started to get the itch for sailing, sold my 40' classic owens and bought a sailboat, Ive done a few coastal cruises here on the west coast but the itch of world cruising persists. I am on a catalina 30 which is good for the time being, since I am still learning how to sail, and eventually hopefully next october, so start my single-handed circumnavigation. I just wanted to say thank you in advance for all the great knowledge that encompasses this site!

Cheers!
Dustin

scratch the itch while you still can, otherwise, you will always regret it.
