Greetings and Best Wishes to Everyone

Hi

My name's Mike or Mick.
Nice to join such a great bunch of people on a great site.
Not sailed on yachts for some time but was trained during my time in the services firstly on Enterprise Dinghies followed by crewing on a 40ft sloop owned by the services. All a long time ago but always remembered with great affection.
After service career and time at college, went into The Merchant Navy and served as Radio Officer eventualy ending up in dual role functioning in both the Radio and Electrical departments. Great experience which took me all over the world on just about every type of commercial vessel. Redundancy eventualy ensued but itchy-feet made me take up teaching English so ended up in various locations in South East Asia.
Since returning decided to complete a few related courses eg. First Aid, DSC Radio and Sea Survival. Presently undergoing studies concerning Navigation.
Cheers

Hi Gord

Thanks for your response and a pleasure to meet you. Situation much the same this side but always looking for a new berth.
Spent some time on West Coast B.C Vancouver visiting pulp mills to the North. Beautifull part of the of the world.
Presently looking for a job as a Pirate In the Carribean!
Cheers

Mick

Aloha and welcome aboard!
You'll find more pirate jobs in Somali, but you may not fit in as easily. Your skills would be very much needed though.
Good to have you here. Let us know how the pirate hiring is.
regards,

Huloa Skipper John

Hi John

Many thanks for the comments. Thought about it but as there are two of my countrymen/women stuck out there through no fault of their own, best to give the joint a wide berth.
Anyway, still looking as always for adventure whilst faculties are still all in order. Anyone short of a multi-skilled Sparks, please let me know.
Anyway, all the best John and all readers. When I win the lottery will be down your way ASAP.

Cheers
