Smile Good Morning from New Zealand...

Morning folks, just a quick intro to say hello.

Im in NZ, waaaay down the bottom, so my local sailing area would be Foveaux Strait.

Currently ive just got a wee Mac360 to play out on the seas with but im shopping for a trailer sailer to add to the fleet, something like a bonito22 (or a little bigger).

Anyway, im off to have a bit of a browse about...

cheers!

Re: Good Morning from New Zealand...

Foveaux Wannabe I always liked the Tasman 20 trailer sailer. Alan Wright designed some sweet yachts.
Having been away from NZ for years I would be wanting a heater in the cockpit if I ever sailed there again.
Cheers

Re: Good Morning from New Zealand...

cheers folks!!

chrisr, it sure is a bit of a dodgy bit of water but i figure if im ok im a 3.6m plastic boat i should be even better in a decent yacht with music and a snack.... lol!

Fore and Aft, cheers. i will have a wee look and see whats about... pickings are a bit thin this far south. If i (gods forbid) lived in Auckland there would be lots more options... its a trade off im willing to make!

SoulJourney, nice to meet you too.... safe travels at your end too..

Re: Good Morning from New Zealand...

Welcome to CruisersForum!

I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.
