Full Sails Again, she hopes!

Greetings fellow SeaLovers!
I'm delighted to find this forum.

I am trying to step into my Captain's shoes left behind by my sweet fiance who died unexpectedly nearly three years ago. We sailed together as teenagers, again in our college years, and finally reunited 10 years ago.

During our time together, we had a C&C in DC, a Catalina 26' sailboat at my winter home in Arizona, and a West Wight Potter for day trips in our Minnesota home.

DF liked the role of Captain, he was also a licensed aircraft pilot and was great at both. I enjoy the role of First Mate and navigation. Now, I am leaning into the Captain role and plan excursions to get back out and home my skills.

I love to travel and typically go for 3-4 weeks to a country. I am on country#42 and hope to find opportunities to liveaboard when traveling. In NA I have a great little RV I land cruise in.

Thanks for having me. I look forward to reading your posts!

Thank you!
You are in one of my favorite countries! I have often thought about a houseboat/yacht to enjoy your delightful location.
