first cruise to Key west from sarasota

we have had a 40ft Sea Ray Sundancer for 2 years and want to take her to Key West. Looking for tips timelines and overnight mooring with lodging. Can anybody help?

Conch Harbor Marina. Tell Diane miss n mountains referred you. Easy in and out fuel.

If you need a hotel, you may consider the Galleon as they have the marina and hotel. However, it is somewhat difficult to get into and out.

From Sarasota you should be able to make it easily in one day. If you want a stop along the way South Seas on Captiva.

While in Key West try Fort Zachary Taylor, Memorial Beach, Mel Fishers and of course Duval. If you have time, head west to Dry Tortugas to see Ft. Jefferson.

Or you can picki up a mooring at the city mooring field much cheaper... if you have a dinghy
