Facebook
Did you create a Facebook for your own boat? If so, did you use your personal account to create a page? Or you just create a Facebook page without via your personal account.
I don't use Facebook and I was wondering if I can just create my boat page without having my facebook personal account.

Re: Facebook
You have to create a personal account first. Then create the page that is controlled (or administrated) by the personal account. You don't need to be active with your personal account, you just need it to log in.

Re: Facebook
If you choose a vaguely human sounding name then you can just have the boat with it's own account. Or create your own account & use that the make a page for the boat. Either way facebook is a great resource which can be used is so many different ways, excellent for keeping in touch with cruisers.

Re: Facebook
We don’t Facebook either, but the Wife made a Boat account, it’s the Boat name and our last name, maybe it has to have two names?

I see you on the Perkins 4-107/108 page. Very colorful paint job. Not surprised.

Re: Facebook
Thanks all of your reply.
I have a personal Facebook account and a page for the boat. Did you guys use your boat page to join any community group rather than your personal account?
