Cansail 2 completed, looking to crew for a day in BC

Hi all!

Stumbled across this site, it's great to have a community to share sailing babblings and ponderings!!!

I have completed my cansail 1 and 2, now looking to help out as crew to gain experience on the water in Vancouver BC.
Open to any recommendations or hearing about past experiences staring out in these parts.

Thanks!!

Welcome to the forum. Maybe fill out your profile so we can see where you might be from. Maybe people in your area could reach out to you.

Welcome Seaweed Eater ... sounds like you're in our neck of the woods, albeit the big smoke part. I'm not part of the lower mainland sailing scene but remember seeing ( in a recent Pacific Yachting mag) that one if the yacht clubs (RVYC I think) was hosting an evening for people interested in crewing on racing boats. It was a no or little experience needed ad. Try contacting some of the LM yacht clubs re opportunities. Best of luck in your efforts.

Welcome.

I would suggest updating your profile with your general location and your boat make & model or “Looking” in the "Boat" category. This info shows up under your UserName in every post in the web view. Many questions are boat and/or location dependent and having these tidbits under your UserName saves answering those questions repeatedly. If you need help setting up your profile then click on this link: https://www.cruisersforum.com/forums...ml#post3308797

I would happily help more if the link above is not enough.
