pirate Ahoy From SW Florida!

Ahoy!

We are young couple in our 20s new to CF. We have just recently began interest in the sailing life. While our friends our age are buying houses and having children we are more interested in a life where there is no schedule and agendas change with the wind. We have been reading and researching about the cruising life. Our only sailing experience (if you can even call it that) are windsurfing and sunfish sailing. We are in the market for buying a liveaboard cruiser (28-35ft probably) and are open to crewing (non paid) for someone who doesn't mind that we don't have much experience. We are both intelligent, active, enthusiastic about life, and have good common sense.

We look forward to being on CF and learning from the other members. If anyone in the Fort Myers/Naples Fl area wants some extra hands on their boat for daysails or long trips or just to chat feel free to contact us. In the meantime we will be browsing the market for our own boat to buy.

Fairwinds!

Thanks Joel, hope you can make it down to see your family! Ironically we are from Michigan as well (southwest). Look forward to hearing from you!

We are from Michigan also. We spend the winters in Florida (Marco Island) and summers in Mi. We just switched to sailboats and are learning ourselves. If you are around this fall or in Mi. this summer, give us a shout. Good luck.
