Weather Reports and Forecasts

I noticed this last year, but this weekend reinforced it: you can not believe the weather people for any forecast beyound maybe 1 hour from the time it was posted! While I appriecate all the exciting sailing experience the weather people have provided me with, because if they had been right I might not are gone out, it does get a little trying sometimes.

I want a weather forecasting job! Doesn't appear that it really matters if you are right in order to keep your job.

So who lives in an area where the forecasts are generally right?

My folks can't even get the current conditions correct, kinda funny if you think about it. I decided to take classes to read the maps/radars myself (that is the smart way anyways). I missed out on the SSCA U weather classes, next time I won't be so slow in signing up.
