If you plan to fail, and you succeed, which have you done?

Re: Unanswered Quesions

Also, in addition to the 'steerboard' side answer, the starboard side helm permits the most optimum view of the starboard side 'danger zone' in the rules of the road. Vessels approaching from the starboard side have the right of way. A port side helm would potentially limit visibility to the danger side.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Perhaps vessels approaching from your starboard have right of way because you have a better view from there...?

How many wings on your flies? Are the standard or sub sonic wings?

Not sure what a "quesion" is, but my unanswered question is: "Why did I bother reading this thread?"

This has to do with the study and structure of the universe, ie cosmetology. It has been postulated that fowl and antifowl are sub-neurotic thingys with an equal number of electons and neurons; in simple terms, if you eat meat, fish, and fowl, you are fowl. If you don't, you are antifowl.

Either way, one thing to try is a rubber owl on the masthead.

Re: Unanswered Quesions

'To be or not to be?' may sound sort of worn off.

'What the hell?' too.

'Why is all the rum gone?' might, given our inclement circumstances, be a good shot.

Yes but Port is relatively recent, they used Larboard until end of 18 century and half of 19 century....

Re: Unanswered Quesions

BTW 'starboard' does not come from 'steer board' but rather from 'a star to steer by'. It used to be the Polar star (Southern Hemispherians needn't apply). The same explains why we will use different portions of Polar diagrams on port tack and on the starboard one.
