For the 1st ten years of my 2nd marriage I told everyone that I traded trucks every five years and wives every 2nd truck. But then I started keeping my trucks longer and the system broke down. Now I just tell everyone that I'm Marilyn's boy-toy. For three glorious weeks out of the year she is 3 years older than me. We're 20 years into our marriage and it just keeps getting better. I tell people I'm elegible to celebrate a 30 year anniversary but I don't know who to invite.

I'm a big fan of older women and also a big fan of moving on. After my divorce people would come up and say "oh I was so sorry to hear about you and ..." To which I would invariably respond "Why the hell would you be sorry? I'm certainly not sorry." Absolutely we need to work on relationships in order to make them work but sometimes it just isn't going to happen and in those cases we need to move on. The alternative - as several posters have alluded to - is too awful to continue.

lol methinks the wife might have preferred the the mistress,due to it being ~

(a) a lot cheaper

(B) would be able to spend more time with her,when not with younger model
