Re: Shark Attack in New Zealand

At least it's relatively quick. Still awful though. The story of an aussie abalone diver that got half-swallowed once was terrifying. He got out by sticking his finger in its eye. It's their home, we're the tasty intruders.

The attack was one of only about a dozen in New Zealand in the past 180 years.

Re: Shark Attack in New Zealand

Why is it that all the bleeding hearts who loudly want to "preserve" predators, are so suddenly silent if you ask them each to ante up and pay wereguild for those same sharks? If the eatings are an accident, pay up for the accidental death, the same way people have to. Someone wants to speak for the sharks, let them pay up as well. I'd rather protect the widows and orphans than the sharks. That's my priority on who or what gets "conservation" first.
