Good-by to all

I would like to say good-by to all of the folks that I have spent many years with here at Cruisersforum. I will no longer be posting here so it has been great and good luck to you all. Chuck

Good by Chuck:

Hate to see you go. I've enjoyed your posts and your sharing of your knowledge. I'd appreciate it if the Mods would allow Chuck to state his reasons.l

That's a loss. What happened? Did mods creep him away? Inquiring minds want to know.

Beach House, if you are reading this, fair winds and following seas. Thanks for all the time you generously gave in sharing your years of wisdom. You'll be missed.

ciao!

When I saw the thread I wondered where Chuck was heading off to, kinda assumed a head off into a warm sunset ......just as well I had not typed a simple "Bon Voyage" , given.......

I always miss the "interesting" stuff ........unless the Mods send me a "special PM", just to alert me - but I've not had one of those for a while so I don't think it's me. I hope not - as I do learn stuff on CF.com (as well as Jibber Jabbering a bit too much ), including from Chuck.......

FWIW I have taken a couple of breaks from CF.com since I arrived (not that folk can tell from my post count ) as even with my laid back approach to life I find it a bit too easy (and puzzling ) to get sucked into stuff - which in the great scheme of things really don't matter........so hopefully this will be "Adieu" rather than "Au Reviour" (apologies Chuck if my schoolboy French called you something rude ).

Chuck

You're one of the "go too" guys who I always check whenever I see your posts. I'd hate to loose your experience/knowledge. Can you let me know where you'll be primarily posting? I hope you can do this on the open post. I'm fairly certain that I'm not alone here. If not, I'd greatly appreciate a PM which I'd keep confidential unless otherwise instructed.

All the best. Fair Winds.

Chuck I hope your New Years Resolution is because of positive memories of CF and a time management decision to spend less time on the computer, rather than some silly conflict.

I understand that some times you have to go cold turkey with this Forum.

I have learned a great deal from you and enjoyed your strong but gentlemanly style of making your point.

Wishing you Fair Winds (or should I now say “Fair Fuel Prices”) in all your endeavors.:cubalibre

Chuck,

I'd like to keep in touch as well. Also, I was planning on seeing if you'd like to meet in Beaufort when I come through there in a coupla months.
