Sexiest interior fixtures?

What interior fixtures would your dream boat have? Head, galley, salon, cockpit, whatever.

Set myself up for that one I saw it coming, too.

Re: Sexiest interior fixtures?

Draft beer system with spigot both in salon AND cockpit. Automatic margarita maker. Pizza oven (real one, burning wood etc). Big grill in cockpit for the steaks, wine cellar, jacuzzi. Lovely young lady in grass skirt to serve above.

Well - we are dreaming aren't we? My admiral would shoot me if the young lady showed up. She might accept the rest.

Bet Steve Jobs new yacht has all the above

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"

With respect, I would remind everyone that Steve Job's doesn't have a boat.

It's better looking than David Geffen's; that thing sat around in Portland for a while making a hole in the air.

Poor Steve, pancreatic cancer is a heck of a way to go, too.

Re: Sexiest interior fixtures?

I'm "dreaming" aboard my own boat and my two sexiest interior features are the two "Forculas" shown in the photo below on each side of my small entertainment center. These were formed by the famed Venetian gondola maker Guiseppe Carli and are virtually unchanged from their original forth century Byzantine design.

My other contender for "sexiest" is my companionway stained glass showing a pair of Aythyas taking flight....

My dreams are well not too outlandish,- 'pleased with what I've got...

Gosh, I'm still dreaming of a nicer sink and an oven that works!

Re: Sexiest interior fixtures?

I didn't know I wanted it until it turned out to be standard on my boat:

(On another boat, the port settee in a closed position)

(On "Zanshin" - the bar is opened)

Re: Sexiest interior fixtures?

Difficult for me to use the words "sexy" and "fixture" in the same sentence...

Water misting system for the cockpit - the one that sprinkles water in the air to keep it cool. And a large (size of two reg) extra deep sink.

+1 To the stained glass. I would love to put a couple nice looking pieces into my companionway doors.
