Placemat opinions

I made these nice placemats that fit in our table (both sides are symmetrical to each other, believe it or not!).

Now I can't think of any good reason to keep our standard placemats. So for others who may have done this project, did you ever wish you had a smaller placemat onboard?

Re: Placemat opinions

Your placemat ≈ my fitted tablecloth.
Looks nice, though.

The minute you spill something on it, you'd wish you had smaller ones.

Nice work, but it's a tablecloth, not a placemat.

Re: Placemat opinions

A tablecloth drapes over the edge; not very practical for a fiddled table

I suppose a placemat marks an individual's place, though
