Regular armchair sailors will remember our photos from Antarctica and Chilean and Argentine Patagonia from a little while ago.

After spending several years in Patagonia, Kiwi Roa has now ventured out into the South Atlantic. Enjoy the desolation and scenery without the frostbite.

Just bouncing this with an update to our Falklands journal.

Kiwi Roa is still in Stanley and has done a little more cruising around the islands, and a few new photos have been added.

Some old friends, and some new ones, turned up in Stanley this year. All are interesting characters that take the path less sailed. And away from the bright lights of Stanley, the Western Falklands offer a strange and remote wilderness.

How was the passage to the Falklands? That would be a dream place to cruise sometime. Just have to watch out for landmines... Great photos though.

Your website says you are going to South Georgia next. As an aspiring photographer myself, I like this TV show, and he says it is one of the best places on Earth.

South Georgia is a truly amazing place. We had the opportunity to go a year ago and I'd return at the drop of a hat given the chance.
