Making Lemonaid

Not superstitious. Do subscribe the the rule of three.

Headed to the keys. Did a 200 mile jump then gave the ladies a couple of days of R&R on the hook. Looking for shells and doing the beach thing.

Weather forecast for thunderstorms and 25-30 mph winds then perfect few days for the Key West run.

Snubber stretching like a rubber band the old Delta anchor held like a champ. Gusts where 50-60 when I heard a pop and the wind genny shut down.

Waited until the wind died a bit and found the wind generator locked up, dinghy rope broken and dinghy out of sight. Started looking for number three. Minor electrical issue.

Now sitting in a marina. Waiting on parts, shopping for another dink and rewiring engine room.

The nights are cool. Life could be worse.

That's the way it works for me. No plan will go unchallenged. Have a great rest of the trip.

Look at it this way, you got the bad out of the way early and can now enjoy the rest of your trip.
