Things can and do go wrong; who'll be paying for the damage (natural causes/self inflicted)? I'd suggest to check with a lawyer and have a contract drawn, before going any further; it's a bit complicated than just hiring competent crew to lookout after your boat.

It´s an easy one but I can't help doing it:this deal is not "sans souci" at the contrary, it brings a lot of soucis..... :-))))))

Re: Liveaboard Couple Wanted in Key West
I think it would help if you provided some more basic info, such as what you expect from the skipper/mate. You haven't even listed for how long you'd expect this to last. How do you expect costs to be handled? I think there's far too many possible questions when it would be far easier for you to list what you expect from a skipper/mate and how you envision this working and then open up questions from there.

Time is negotiable.
Costs are determined by the skipper and mate.
I am available and open to your many questions.

Re: Liveaboard Couple Wanted in Key West
my wife and I would be interested, please email us sailingtwinspire@gmail.com. I am taking scuba diving at key west community college, we are looking for a boat of our own right now, we have lived aboard before, we could stay on her until we find our own while I go to school

Just read this thread. You're certainly open to questions but it seems very few answers are forthcoming. Answering questions with questions doesn't work too well here. Good luck in your search.

Re: Liveaboard Couple Wanted in Key West
Ah geeze, I wish that I had seen this sooner. I was down in Key West last week. I could have stopped in to see the boat & have a chat with you. I'm not looking for that particular situation at the moment, but I often run into other people who may be more inclined to go for an offer like that.

Re: Liveaboard Couple Wanted in Key West
Yes, my Husband and I are interested. We currently have a 37.6 Hunter Legend on Lake Michigan and are looking for a live aboard opportunity in the south when we it gets cold up here. Please let me know when you need someone to begin living there and for how long. Thanks!
