Leaving Stuff on Board

My wife has a question regarding leaving bedding and clothing on board when we are not. I am sure putting everything through the wash is step one. We are talking 4-5 months in well vented boat in the Grenadines

We leave everything on board for 6 months. Either in heavy duty plastic bags or Rubbermaid tubs. Everything should be well sealed. Have been doing that for ten years without a problem.

Yep, seal it up good. Those vacuum bag things are great. Otherwise, you are going to smell like mold..... of course if you've been in the tropics for quite a while, you probably already do smell to landlubbers!
You will understand that when you get back to the boat and get a whiff after being on land for 6 months!
