Wadanoli, I've moved your post to this forum. The other forum is for questions about the forum.
As to
fender boards. MY understanding of fender boards, and how I have mine set up, (for your size
boat too) is that I have a 12' long 2 x 8. I've drilled two holes near each end of the board, about 4 inches apart and at a 45 degree angle to the plane of the 8" side. those two holes meet on the OUTSIDE edge (8" ). I've sorta countersunk those so the deploying line won't rub against what you are tied up to.
The FENDERS, go between your
boat and the fenderboard - as many and of a sufficient size you need to keep the board away from your
hull as the boat (fenderboard) moves against the pilings. So, I'm not really sure what your question is - can you be more specific?
