Kid's Aboard in Bahamas

We are currently in St Augustine and will be spending the winter in the Bahamas, looking for other kid boats headed that way.

Cheers

Re: Kid's Aboard in Bahamas

They run a VHF net in the Bahamas every morning at 8:30, jump in at the end of the NET and ask if there are any other kids. You dont see a lot of Kids in the Bahamas in the winter because of school. There are some that are home schooled that are there, but not a lot.

Re: Kid's Aboard in Bahamas

Fair winds to all you families cruising the Bahamas this winter. We went a few years ago with our girls when they were 9 and 12. The experience of a lifetime. I wish we could get back there together before they're all grown up and moved out . . . but the exigencies of work and school and life seem to conspire against it. Enjoy this precious time!
